About Me
My mission is to lead teams to deliver complex projects that bring visions to life and grow businesses.
I am passionate about fixing troubled projects. The ones that have failed over and over again. The ones that require skill sets from multiple teams and buy-in from key stakeholders. Driving organizational changes make the best turnaround stories. And to me life is a series of stories.
I lead teams to drive out strategic goals. My ability to quickly analyze situations and set priorities, think broadly and anticipate risks, and foster collaboration all help ensure that teams stay on track and deliver exceptional results.
Second to fixing troubled projects is my love for analyzing and synthesizing big data and formatting information so it looks good. From building workbooks and dashboards to communicating ideas in Keynote, PowerPoint, or Prezi – I love it all!
I think everything is a project. Before I was hired at a global consulting firm, before I knew what project management was, I was a project manager at my core – creating plans and analyzing stakeholders (sometimes called family). My background and training as an Economist has provided me a background ripe with assumptions and risk analysis. Sure, most people have vacation plans and annual budgets. But do they have a corresponding status report to track progress and spend? They don’t? I’m not saying you should, but…
I have been married to the love of my life for 8 years. We are the lucky adoptive parents to two wonderful children, 2 and 4 years old. Our black flat-coated retriever is my cube-mate when I work from home.
